Hello Britt?
So I finally moved back to my parent’s house for the summer and I am ready to update again. Not that anyone really reads my blog, especially now that it’s been months since I have updated, but I am going to be active again!!! So what’s been going on with my life, you ask? Well I finished up my fourth year in college, and I already can’t wait to move back to Boulder. Addison has grown heeps since my last post. Just look at her:
I am working at the photography studio I have been working at for the past four summers, and they bumped my earnings to 12 dollars an hour. However, I am saving my money for my expensive life style I will be living next year. I couldn’t be more excited to get my very own apartment. My mother and I already started buying all sorts of odds and ends for my kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room, and it’s making me even more excited.
One of the things that sucks about being home is that I am now an hour away from Danny, my boyfriend. We have been dating for over a year and a half now, and he is my best friend (don’t worry I am not one of those girls who has lost all her girlfriends for a boy). Luckily we have both made the effort to see each other on the weekends, but it is still hard. I don’t really talk that much about Danny in my blog, but I realized he is such an important part of my life, that it’s almost silly I don’t. Plus everyone seems to always enjoy a little relationship gossip/drama. That’s one thing I am going to try to do! Make my blog more personal. Hopefully it will be fun for my readers, but it will also serve as a journal for me. Anyways, I am off to watch “So You Think You Can Dance,” So please stay tuned- if there is actually anyone out there reading this.

Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
Hey everyone. Sorry I haven’t posted in a couple weeks, things were super hectic: all in good ways though. I turned in my BFA application and I got accepted! Whooo!! So I will be attending art school for another year, and graduating with a much more prestige degree in Printmaking. I plan to update my deviantart account with my newest prints, but they are currently drying in the studio. I just recently started making large-scale prints, and although I am not in love with the work it takes to make them, I am in love with the outcome.
And I just can’t hold it in any longer!!! I GOT A PUPPY! You are probably thinking: “wait Britt, I thought you were going to wait till the summer?” So we were going to visit the breeder a couple weeks back to check out her facilities, and well one thing lead to another and “checking out the facilities” turned into buying the cutest bundle of fur I have ever seen. Addison was born on Dec. 16th (Christmas baby), and has beautiful soft red fur, and long eyelashes. She has to live with my parents for the next two months because my apartment doesn’t allow pets. Which leads me to also say: I signed a lease for my very own apartment. Addison and I will be moving in on August 8th, 2008!!! The apartment is in a beautiful neighborhood about a ten minute walk to shopping and the main campus of CU. Needless to say I am super excited for next year, and literally cannot wait to move home this summer to take over my baby. Because I miss her so much, I bring her up to school on the weekends and she stays with me at my boyfriend’s house. If you want to see more of this little princess visit my youtube account. And as if my month could get any better: in two weeks I am going to Costa Rica with my family to go hiking in the jungle, tan on the beach, go rafting, zip-lining, and of course shopping!!! I am going to get my haircut next week so that when I return from my vacation I will be tan and blonde and ready to party it up for my 22nd Birthday on April 1st.
God do I love highs. Lets just hope it lasts.

Happy Heart Day!
So it’s been a crazy week with school, friends, and everything. So I thought I would make an update now just incase I run out of time to do it later in the week. I made a personal goal to finish my BFA application today, but being the procrastinator I am I decided to make my boyfriends Valentines Day card instead. I made a cute heart little shrinky-dink and glued it onto a hand-colored piece of hand-made paper. I hope he likes it :)
Anyways I hope everyone has a fabulous Valentines Day! Whether you are a single mingle or have someone to share it with.
Oh and turns out in the puppy litter there were no girls out of the eight puppies born. What are the odds? So I found a new breeder and hopefully I will have better luck this time around. We are going to go visit her property and dogs next weekend.
