Sweat Tooth
Hey Everyone! So I just got back from my road-trip to Chicago… And lets just say I am glad to be out of the car. Addi actually did really great on the trip, except for the fact that she is a complete hog of the air conditioning- haha! Anyways, now that it’s pretty much smooth sailing till I move in, I have started to work on buying fun new stuff for my apartment . . . My lastest binge you ask? … Cupcakes!!!
So for a print I made a couple months ago I did a series of hummingbirds surrounded by deserts, and ever since I have been obsessed with cupcakes. So I went to the bookstore and bought all these fun cupcake recipe books to reek havoc in my new kitchen. And then one day after work my mom surprised me with this adorable hand-help Kitchen Aid mixer. And it’s in a sexy red color- how cute!
As far as the interior decorating goes with my kitchen/living room I am doing a color scheme of burgundy, periwinkle, and yellow accents. (Don’t worry I will take pictures when I move in, to prove that the color scheme is killer!) . . . So because I am going to start baking I found it only appropriate to adorn my kitchen with a piece of cupcake artwork. And I found this adorable little artist on etsy who literally makes adorable little cupcake watercolors. So I bought a “cuppy” (the name of her character) walking down the red carpet being malled by the sweat paparazzi. It will look just perfect in my little kitchen:
